OptiCell® C5

The latest generation of modern and natural dietary fiber

OptiCell® C5  is a standardized patented combination of natural dietary fiber derived from selected tree species.

OptiCell® C5  Fiber concentrate from insoluble, fermentable lignocellulose.

The answer to the challenges of modern animal nutrition

OptiCell® C5  is a natural solution, comprising of micronized insoluble and fermentable dietary fiber originating from the tree trunk, including both: cambium and bar

Most important effects at a glance

OptiCell® C5  supports gut health by having a positive effect on gut flora, reducing the risk of gut illnesses, constipation and diarrhea Improves nutrient absorption and utilization Improves productivity and performance.

OptiCell® C5   for a functional digestion OptiCell® C5  is a natural solution, comprising of micronized insoluble and fermentable dietary fiber originating from the tree trunk, including both: cambium and bark. The proportion of insoluble and at the same fermentable fibers is responsible for the physiological effects and promotes the formation of short-chain fatty acids – especially butyric acid. The micronized, inert particles have “physical“effects. They regulate the passage rate and through their large surface area, optimize the contact of the digestive enzymes with the digesta. OptiCell® C5  thus ensures for the development of a healthy digestive system, regulates intestinal peristalsis and promotes a healthy microflora. A well-functioning gut reduces animal stress, while optimizing performance and productivity.

Sows: Supports the sow during gestation, farrowing and lactation. Promotes larger and uniform litters and improved piglet vitality.

Piglets: Improves safety during weaning through better gut health and a reduction in cases of diarrhea. Increases daily weight gain and weaning weights.

Poultry, Growers/Finishers: Improves daily weight gain. Stabilizes stomach and gut health and prevents non-specific diarrhea.

Poultry, Breeders and pullets: Optimizes the development of the digestive organs; optimizes feed absorption. More eggs per new pullet.

Laying hens: improves laying performance and duration. Quieter birds, less feather picking.

Broilers: Improved faeces quality and healthier footpads. Increased feed absorption and weight gain as well as improved feed utilization.
