As phytate is present in all vegetable raw materials, AveMix\u00ae P5000 is beneficial for all feedstuffs . By adding AveMix\u00ae P5000, the amount of inorganic phosphorus in the feed can be reduced. This decreases feed costs, whilst also resulting in lower phosphorous emissions in manure . Within plant cells, phytate is bound to cations (such as calcium, magnesium, sodium) and amino acids. By degrading the phytate, as well as releasing digestible phosphorus, AveMix\u00ae P5000 also makes calcium and other nutrients more available .
